"I have been wearing Hyperfly Gi’s and apparel now for over the past 3-4 years and would not wear anything else!" - Kaela Banney
Where it all began...
From a small town of Gladstone where there was only one local academy, I originally started training Martial arts at the age of 7 and eventually incorporated Jiu Jitsu under Fight Club to further training at the age of 10.
With limited availability of competitions I moved to the Gold Coast to further my training under Professor Daniel Lima and since then have greatly improved my Jiu Jitsu and have had multiple opportunities for competition including traveling to the World Championships.
Also Competing in Mixed Martial arts I was the first woman in Australia to Achieve the XFC Atom Weight Title and have recently defended this title also
I now work and train full time at Fight Club Jiu Jitsu, I hope to inspire others and always live by the quote of ‘do not accept mediocrity’ strive to be the best in everything you do and lead by example.
My current favorite Gi is the ‘Women’s Premium 3.0 Slim Cut’ which just fits perfectly! Hyperfly Australia products are the highest of quality and in my opinion have the best designs, they know what the customer wants and needs when it comes to the right fit!
